In 1982, filmmaker Kees Hin from Amsterdam made an exceptional film about German refugees who fled to the Netherlands in the 1930s for the Berlijn-Amsterdam '20-'40 event. Hin recorded 23 unique, sometimes heart-rending conversations with these survivors of the Nazi regime on video.
