Hollywood and Landscapes of 'The Orient' (part 1)

Artist and art historian Sary Zananiri includes many film clips in his lecture to demonstrate how Hollywood has been defining the landscape of the Middle East. Followed by the documentary Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People (2006). The evening is curated by Nat Muller, guest curator of the exhibition Trembling Landscapes: Between Reality & Fiction.
