Incroyable mais vrai

Play trailer

Quentin Dupieux / FR, 2022 / 74 min.

The characters in Quentin Dupieux’s films seldom seem surprised by the crazy stuff going on all around them. In his latest film, in which a house turns out to also be a time machine, the craziness is once again dished up in the laconic way that has become Dupieux's inalienable trademark.

Married couple Alain and Marie’s new house in a suburb of Paris comes with a remarkable bonus. Anyone who descends into a hole in the cellar floor travels twelve hours ahead in time, while at the same time becoming three days younger. It is mostly Marie who makes use of this unexpected chance of a lifetime. But there’s also Alain’s boss, who during a meal reveals that he’s had an electronically controlled penis installed.
