A remarkable portrait of a man in his forties who leaves Mexico City to travel to the countryside, where he plans to end his life. He finds shelter with an aged, deeply religious woman (Magdalena Flores), who sacrifices herself sexually to keep him from killing himself.
A man returns to the mountainous region of his youth intending to kill himself. There he meets a pious elderly woman (Magdalena Flores), an encounter which returns him to life (and lust).
