Adaptation of the prize-winning book 'Lampie' by Annet Schaap, a fairy tale-like story about a lighthouse keeper’s daughter. The successful series has now been turned into a feature film.
Lampie, an 11-year old girl, lives in a lighthouse with her father Augustus. Every day, when night falls, she climbs up to light the lamp. However, one stormy night everything goes wrong: the matches are spent, a huge ship breaks up on the rocks and the lighthouse keeper and his daughter become separated. As punishment, Lampje is sent to work at the Black House where everyone says a monster lives. With help from carnies and a boy who is also a fish, she does everything she can to get her father back.
