Lara
Jan Ole Gerster / DE, 2019 / 98 min.
Lara turns sixty today. On this day, too, her son Viktor will be debuting his own composition at a piano recital. But Viktor has turned his back on his demanding mother and refuses to get in touch with her even on her birthday.
Her attempts to get in touch with him are blocked by relatives who urge her to leave Viktor in peace. Desperate, she buys up all the remaining tickets for the concert and hands them out to old acquaintances. It is the start of an unusually eventful day and evening.
