The legendary filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard died on 13 September 2022. Hugo Emmerzael (Filmkrant) will provide a brief lecture as an homage, accompanying the screening of Le livre d’image, in which Godard eviscerates our assumptions about the realism of reality in a collage of images, sounds and language.
Which images do we select to tell which stories and whose reality is expressed in those stories (known as cinema)? This is one of the themes in the extensive oeuvre of filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard, who died in September aged 92.
