Maak je eigen flipboek: Daar zit muziek in!
During this family workshop – preceded by an exciting selection of seven short animations from Eye’s collection – you make your own flipbook.

Around the shortest day of the year, December 21, we celebrate Short Film Day. With a special film program we treat children from the age of six to the best short films from Europe. Get creative with Kolya, make music with the long legged man and Mora or play in the snow with the winter cat.
Programme

Koyaa – Jumpy Eraser (Kolja Saksida, SI 2019, 3’)
Koyaa draws some lovely bunnies on a piece of paper, framing it. As he's ready to set aside his eraser, it jumps up and starts charging around! Koyaa needs a quick solution for the jumpy mayhem.

Mora Mora (Jurga Šeduikytė, LT 2021, 8’)
Little Mora is sinking into an endless sea. What looks like a little island appears to be a floating piano – her transitory salvation. Discovering she can conjure up the wind by pressing piano keys, Mora starts a journey through a dormant world. Getting acquainted with its features and creatures, Mora looks for ways to bring it back to life.

Antonio (Daniela Zottola & Elisa Fanais, IT 2025, 7’)
In a southern Italian village, the ‘Wedding of the Trees’, an ancient agrarian rite of pre- Christian origin, is being celebrated. Among the crowd is also Antonio, a child who, playing with ants, take part in the ceremony, in his very own way.

O homem das pernas altas (Vitor Hugo, PT 2023, 9’)
In a blank space, a barrel organ suddenly chokes and plays on its own. Its player with pin-tipped feet, free from playing, may start a dance that makes him see what he couldn't listen to anymore…

Meta (Antje Heyn, DE 2022, 4’)
Change, transience, cycles, connection and interaction. Partly funny, partly poetic, Meta shows that everything consists of many parts and that in the end all is and we are all connected with each other.

Il gatto inverno (Aurora Cesarini, Silvia Sabbatini & Marta Zanoni, IT 2025, 7’)
Little Giovanni goes to school, but outside the snow is falling thick and fast — it’s easy to lose yourself in daydreams and end up late for class. But for a strict teacher, it’s harder — she seems to have forgotten that magic. The Winter Cat will help her relive it and share it with her little pupil.

Koyaa – Elusive Paper (Kolja Saksida, SI 2019, 3’)
Koyaa wants to paint, but his sheet of paper suddenly starts folding into a paper airplane, taking off with a buzz. Koyaa chases after it as it keeps transforming into various shapes, being super elusive!
