Albert Serra: Artist Talk Artur Tort
Masterclass by cameraman Artur Tort who shot films including La mort de Louis XIV (2016), Liberté (2019) and Pacifiction (2022) for Albert Serra, who made the current Eye exhibition Liberté. Tort won the César for Best Cinematography for Pacifiction, shot on Tahiti.

Artur Tort is a self-taught cameraman and started his collaboration with Albert Serra as an office staffer. During his masterclass at Eye he will provide insight into his unorthodox methods and characteristic use of the camera. Attention will also be paid to the mega project Three Little Pigs (2012): a 101-hour film, shot and edited in exactly 100 days.
In collaboration with Netherlands Society of Cinematographers (NSC). Moderated by Evgeny Gusyatinskiy, curator, festival programmer for IFFR, critic and teacher.
Before the masterclass, Pacifiction will be screened at 17:30.
