Heartwarming stop-motion animated film about twins Grace and Gilbert, who are separated after their father dies. They both struggle, through trial and error, to find their place in the world. Grace finds comfort with Pinky, an octogenarian who playfully embraces life.
Life doesn’t smile on us all equally. Grace and her twin brother Gilbert are growing up with an alcoholic, paralysed father who used to be a juggler. When he dies – their mother has already passed away – the twins are separated and placed in different foster families.
