An evening about visions, hallucinations, phantasmagoria and early cinema featuring the work of Minne Kersten who examines the links between ancient spiritual depictions and experiments, early cinema and the modern avant-garde.
Fiction, reality, imagination and symbolism play important roles in Minne Kersten’s work. Occasioned by her installation There’s Always Another Twist, on view at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam until 6 April 2026, she will screen a selection of her films, early cinema and avant-garde art films from Eye’s collection.
