The Lucerna theater, in the heart of the new Prague, was built by Vaclav Havel, grandfather of the former president of Czechoslovakia. The Lucerna was the pinnacle of ‘New Art’. Vaclav Havel wanted his cinema to embody the Czech spirit and pride.
