A young Palestinian activist has been struggling against the large-scale displacement of his community by the Israeli government since childhood.
The International Coalition for Filmmakers at Risk defends filmmakers and their right to continue their work in freedom and safety. Its mission is to advocate for and to act in solidarity with filmmakers at severe and acute risk.
In No Other Land, the young Palestinian activist Basel Adra documents the destruction of villages on the West Bank where Israeli soldiers destroy homes and drive out the inhabitants. An unlikely friendship blossoms when Basel meets Israeli journalist Yuval. Although Yuval supports his efforts their friendship suffers due to the enormous inequality between them: Basel lives under military occupation, while Yuval has complete freedom.
