Gay man falls for a woman. It happens to successful German filmmaker Tomas, who makes love to the young French teacher Agathe; Tomas’ British husband Martin views it all with a laconic eye, yet tensions rise.
After the wrap party of his latest film which was set in Paris, Tomas (Franz Rogowski) meets Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos), a young French teacher. What starts in a bar, ends in bed. Tomas proudly tells his British partner Martin (Ben Whishaw) that he has slept with a woman for the first time. Martin acts untouched.
