Hirayama is very content with his simple life as a public toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Besides his very structured daily routine, he enjoys his passion for music, books and the trees he photographs. His neighbourhood’s small bars are always full of the same people. He drives to work inn his minivan laden with cleaning products playing tapes by The Rolling Stones, Patti Smith or Lou Reed. A few unexpected meetings gradually reveal more of his past.
