Rosa, de kleine bloemenfee

Rosa is a small flower fairy used to living alone in her rose bush. She dreams of having a friend, but is too scared to leave. When Mr. and Mrs. Mouse, who live under the rose bush, can’t find a bride for their son, Rosa offers to marry him instead. However she quickly regrets it as she doesn’t fit in with a mouse at all.

Fortunately, Rosa is rescued before the wedding by the cool and brave butterfly Silk. They quickly become friends, and when Silk is kidnapped by a dangerous Stone Troll, Rosa finally overcomes her fears of everything and venture out to save her new best friend.

The animated feature Rosa, de kleine bloemenfee (Rosa and the Stone Troll) is based on a childrens book and marks the feature debut of director Karla Nor Holmbäk. She graduated as Animation Director from the acclaimed Danish Film School in 2018 and has been working as an illustrator and author of children books since her graduation.
