Director Peter Wingender portrays various residents of the artists' colony and follows them in their struggle to preserve Ruigoord - whose survival is threatened, not for the first time. Ruigoord residents also realise that it is difficult to oppose a green energy transition, but should their magical, environmentally and people-friendly village make way for this?
