Satirical thriller of great contemporary relevance in which an environmental conference packed with vain celebrities in Greece is transformed into a nightmare by the threat of a volcanic eruption and an eco-cult. Are we able to make personal sacrifices in the face of a catastrophe?
An exclusive benefit gala-cum-environmental conference is being attended by a very wide range of characters. Actor Mike Tyler (Chris Evans), star of countless action films, is going through an existential crisis all of his own. He wants to make a rousing speech demanding a real answer to the climate crisis – and at the same time handily resetting his tarnished image. Billionaire Ben Bracken (Vincent Cassel) is there lobbying for support for his highly dubious plans for deep-sea mining.
