Sleeper

Woody Allen / US, 1973

A science fiction satire and screwball comedy about the future. It even includes Dixieland music. Woody plays the nerdy Miles Monroe, a jazz clarinet player and the owner of a health food shop who wakes up in a dystopic future in the year 2173. This summer EYE is devoting a retrospective to Allen’s films.
