The last family on earth are hiding out in a bunker deep inside a salt mine after society collapsed due to an ecological disaster. The son, a naïve 20-something born in the bunker, only knows the outside world from stories. Why in Eye
Tilda Swinton: "Joshua Oppenheimer’s barely-dystopian allegory: a billionaire family underground for twenty-five years in their exquisite recreation of an art-stuffed Upper East Side apartment. The world above ground burns and they sing their denial. We spent that Spring in the salt mines of Sicily and Leipzig and are, forevermore since, grateful for the sky, the birds and each other, as long as we have them."
