For some time now, 28-year-old Allma has been leading a peaceful life as a novice in a nunnery, where she will shortly be taking her vows. But before her symbolic marriage to Christ can take place her brother Eric, a recovering alcoholic, turns up. Eric demands his share of their father’s inheritance, putting an end to the peace and quiet of Allma’s cloistered existence. The novice is played by Norwegian actress Kristine Kujath Thorp (Ninjabay, Sick of Myself).
