Naples in 1980s: the city is poor, dirty and crime ridden. Nevertheless, the Neapolitans have hope because the redeemer is coming. The best football player in the world, Diego Maradona, has signed for SSC Napoli. When Maradona gifts the club one win after another, the city goes crazy and so does 16-year-old Fabietto’s life.
