Tutankhamun: The Last Exhibition
Ernesto Pagano / IT, 2022 / 78 min.
To mark the hundredth anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun, this documentary – with a voice-over by Iggy Pop – presents an opportunity to see his treasures up close for the first time. 150 objects were taken to one of the largest international exhibitions ever dedicated to the Pharaoh.

On 26 November 1922, British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter first saw the burial chamber of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, after making a small opening in the plaster above an underground entrance. The chamber, strewn with more than 5,400 objects, was virtually intact and would take on legendary status.
