Under Saturn: Eye Artist and Scholar-in-Residence week
The Eye Artist and Scholar-in-Residence program is sponsored by Ladies Eye and FC Waterboys.

In 2017 Eye for the first time launched its Eye Artist and Scholar-in-Residence programme, inviting Christian Gosvig Olesen as resident scholar and Alexandra Navratil as resident artist. For the second edition Eye has invited artist Aimée Zito Lema and scholar Prof. Patricia Pisters. This week marks the end of the first edition and the beginning of the second edition of the Eye Artist and Scholar-in-Residence programme.

The evening will depart from Navratil's latest video work Under Saturn (Act 1), which she produced during her residency at the Eye Filmmuseum in 2018, as well as some of her previous video works. We will embark on a multifaceted journey with a short lecture by Alena Alexandrova and a screening curated by Margarida Mendes with videos and films by Deborah Stratman, Nicholas Mangan, Jean Painlevé and Ana Vaz.
From 3-9 December Alexandra Navratil's new slide installation, Under Saturn (Act 2), will also be exhibited at Eye.
