Une histoire de vent & Regen
EYE organizes a special Joris Ivens day to mark the launch of The Conscience of Cinema. The Works of Joris Ivens 1926-1989, a work by the Canadian film historian Thomas Waugh. On this evening Waugh will offer a short introduction. The programme includes the screening of Une histoire de vent and Regen (Rain), both on 35mm. The EYE-filmensemble play Lou Lichtvelds original score for Regen.
Earlier this day the programme Joris Ivens & Nederland will be shown. EYE organizes the Joris Ivens Day in collaboration with Amsterdam University Press and the European Foundation Joris Ivens.
