A thrilling and superbly illustrated animated detective film about the adventures of Dino, a cat who leads a double life. The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film and has a deliciously jazzy soundtrack that includes Billie Holiday.

Dino is a cat who spends his time at two separate addresses. During the day he”s living the good life at the house of a young girl called Zoé, at night he”s climbing the roofs of Paris in the company of Nico, a nimble-fingered burglar. Zoé”s mother is a busy police officer with very little time for her daughter. Zoé”s father was murdered by the gangster Victor Costa. Ever since that sad day, Zoé has stopped talking.Curious about what her cat gets up to at night, Zoé decides to follow him. As she gets to the house of Dino”s burglar buddy Nico, however, she is kidnapped. Will Dino and Nico manage to find Zoé? With the voices of Rick De Leeuw and Willeke van Ammelrooy. Phantom Boy, by the same animation filmmakers, will be screened at EYE from 14 October.
