Vier minus drei
Adrian Goiginger / AT, 2026 / 121 min.
In this Austrian drama, a female clown’s world collapses after a tragic accident. How can she re-find meaning and a goal in her life? Based on a true story.
Hospital clown Barbara (Valerie Pachner) performs for sick children and is married to artist-clown Heli (Robert Stadlober). Their lives are chaotic – two hyper kids and a messy household – but happy. When Heli and her children are killed in a car accident, Barbara not only loses her family, but also herself and the identity she spent years constructing. What are clowns who cheer up the sick supposed to do when they themselves are depressed?
