Vive l'amour
Ming-Liang Tsai / TW, 1994 / 118 min.
There is little dialogue in the second feature film by Taiwanese director Tsai Ming-liang, but there is all the more attention for the body language of the protagonists, the sounds of the city and the small gestures: flipping open a phone, sipping a bright green drink. Tsai won the Golden Lion at the Venice film festival for his portrait of three lost souls in Taipei.

Eye screens all films by the Taiwanese filmmaker to accompany Tsai”s VR project The Deserted.
