VR Academy: Dissolved in Transit

For Eye on Art ResearchLabs, third-year students from the VR Academy of the Dutch Film Academy chose the theme 'twilight zone', experimenting with VR, interactivity and stop-motion. On display in the IJ-Lounge and Project Space.
Third-year Immersive Media students from the Dutch Film Academy will show their work on 13 February (16:30-21:30) and 14 February (12:00-20:30).
Dissolved in Transit shows the progress of personal research and the play with experimental technology. Analogue and digital media merge into thought-provoking experiences in which VR, projections, interactive installations and stop-motion techniques overlap.
The students embrace themselves as makers, only to disintegrate into a wide range of realities and movements. In a twilight zone, something appears that is not finite but appears to be in development, constantly changing and still taking shape. After immersion, we move on to the next phase: dissolution.
