What do you do when your son doesn’t want to keep on living? In Witte Flits, 42-year-old Rick (Sanne den Hartogh) has been suffering from tortuous psychological problems for well over 20 years. After an intense, multi-year process he finally receives permission to have euthanasia performed due to unbearable psychological suffering with no prospect of relief. His parents Aagje (Renée Soutendijk) and Toon (Raymond Thiry) now have to let him go forever. Is their love strong enough to support Rick in his abiding desire for a dignified end?
