Workshop Stop-motion

In this workshop (7+) children discover the magic of animation. Under the guidance of professional animator Anna Liebermann, you will make your own cool stop-motion video. How do you bring a triangle, a sock or a star to life? Give them eyes, let them open and close, put legs on them and start swinging!

Stop-motion films are made by taking lots and lots of photos. When you then (quickly) show all of these photos one after another, it looks like the subject is moving by itself. You can change the image from one photo to another. Everything can be brought to life with this technique. Figures can disappear, change, suddenly move or appear out of nowhere.

Practical information

The workshop is intended for children between seven and twelve years old, an accompanying adult is welcome free of charge, but is not mandatory. The workshop costs €7,50 for children, with the Stadspas (groene stip) you pay €1,50.
