Romania, 1987. Pregnant student Gabita decides to have a termination. Her friend Otilia is by her side, but the two risk heavy prison sentences if found out. It is only one of the things they have to deal with. In 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days the two friends not only have Ceaușescu’s informers to fear.
