Director and choreographer Sedrig Verwoert created I Feel It Too as Young Creative Associate of The Dutch National Ballet. The social and cultural restrictions as a result of the global pandemic inspired Verwoert to create a dance piece exclusively for the screen, shedding a light on the complex emotions that we collectively had to face. The film encapsulates emotions ranging from a state of naiveté to a heavy understanding of the new normal. Rozina Salihuz, whose voice narrates the film and Tim Wes, who made the original music score, appear in the film as a critical note to the consumption of black culture.
