Breakfast at Tiffany's
Blake Edwards / US, 1961 / 115 min.
In Breakfast at Tiffany’s (two Oscars), Audrey Hepburn in one of her most famous roles, plays the cunning manipulator Holly Golightly, who charmingly elicits money from her dates.

Truman Capote wrote a novel about his fascination for his neighbour, the extravagant Holly. In turn, director Blake Edwards became captivated by Capote’s story. This resulted in Breakfast at Tiffany's ‘an utterly unbelievable, yet extremely compelling flight of fancy,’ according to the New York Times.
