Cinemini: De krekel

Cinemini: De krekel

Charming, witty, poetic animations from the maker of The Mole. The Krekel records the adventures of a cricket and his magical violin.

Eye will be opening the Cinemini room especially for toddlers and their parents. It will be open every Sunday so children between 2 and 6 can watch animations and play with their parents nearby. This time around, musical animations about de Krekel, the cricket.

The crickets play violin, the dung beetles play the tuba and the bees play the cello. The ladybirds also take part in the concert and the glutinous aphids have no idea their saw-teeth make fabulous musical instruments.

Face to face with a chicken, trapped in a cello’s body or coughing due to the hedgehog’s tractor’s dirty exhaust fumes... Krekel finds a solution to every problem using his charming violin music.

Eye’s finest and most intimate film theatre is a great place for children aged 2 to 6 to experience their first cinema visit. Every Sunday morning, Eye’s Cinemini opens especially for preschoolers and their (grand)parents, where children are treated to a film, followed by experiments with light and shadow in small play tents.
