The father of the modern zombie film, George A. Romero, died last Sunday 16 July. On 1 August EYE will screen his masterpiece Dawn of the Dead in 35mm by way of tribute. This 1978 zombie classic will be introduced by film programmer Ronald Simons, along with some appropriate trailers.
