Tom was left behind as a foundling and is raised by Professor Abervrach and Elizabeth, two bright and wayward scientists. They live on the island Nioukos close to a magnificent, strange city, where everyone believes they are the sole inhabitants on earth.
Some twenty years after A Monkey’s Tale and five years after Louise by the Shore, much-lauded director Jean-François Laguionie has come up with another pearl.
