En los márgenes delves into a story of family, love, and solidarity, showcasing three characters with intertwined tales, struggling to survive a pivotal 24-hour period that could forever alter their destinies. As the countdown ensues, the film unravels the repercussions of economic hardship on personal bonds and highlights how affection and unity can become the driving force to persevere. As quoted by the director, Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca once said, “Underneath the multiplications is a drop of blood.” This movie gives a face to such statistics, emphasizing the crucial role mothers play in imparting love and sustenance to their families amidst the economic downturn.

This film will close the festival, and we will offer drinks to our audience as a way to say ‘tot ziens!’
