Enzo is 16 and one things is certain, he doesn’t want to take the path his wealthy parents have outlined for him. Laurent Cantet and Robin Campillo’s impressive coming-of-age story was the opening film for the prestigious Quinzaine des Réalisateurs programme in the Cannes Film Festival.
Enzo seems to have it all. He lives in a nice villa with a swimming pool and all mod cons in the south of France with his parents and brother. His mother is an engineer, his father a maths teacher. Contrary to every expectation placed upon him, Enzo refuses the life they have outlined for him: he wants to do a manual job and become a bricklayer.
