Programme

  • Commercials (10 x 1’)

At the end of the fourth academic year, students complete one final short exercise: a commercial. They receive a briefing which they use as a basis to develop and produce a commercial. Industry professionals are involved both in the course content and in its practical execution. All film academy students are eligible to participate.

This year, students were asked to create a commercial for SIRE for a fictional campaign titled “Know What You Eat.” The campaign aims to encourage young people to think more deeply—and perhaps differently—about their daily eating and drinking habits, so they can make more conscious and better choices.

    Somewhere in Between (Fiction, 20’)

During a vacation on an island, 16-year-old Lina struggles with her parents’ looming divorce. She meets 17-year-old Dylan and is drawn to the harmony in his family—a painful contrast to her own situation. As their friendship deepens, Lina withdraws. After a fight with her mother, she is left alone and learns that vulnerability is her true strength.
