Groundhog Day
Harold Ramis / US, 1993 / 100 min.
Today is Groundhog Day, that special day when it’s up to a groundhog to predict the length of winter. A grumpy weatherman (Bill Murray) keeps reexperiencing the day he detests. Comedy in the spirit of Frank Capra means absurd plot twists and inner catharsis.

In Punxsutawney people believe that the groundhog roused during the first week of February can predict how long the winter is yet to last. Weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray), originally from Pittsburgh, but now working for local TV in Punxsutawney, is sent to report. And that while he dreamed of a career as the star reporter for one of the major American networks.
