Het zakmes
Ben Sombogaart / NL, 1992 / 90 min.
Ben Sombogaart made a highly successful film adaptation of Sjoerd Kuyper’s children’s book Het zakmes, about six-year-old Mees (Olivier Tuinier) whose parents don’t have much time for him. Also featuring Adelheid Roosen and Beppie Melissen. In memoriam Sjoerd Kuyper, who passed away this autumn.
Mees has a problem. He’s accidentally taken his friend Tim’s penknife. And Tim needs it back. The problem is: Tim has moved. And the only information Mees has, is that Tim now lives in the province of Flevoland.
