The three guardians now welcome the candidate whose reincarnation will enable their reincarnation too. But soldier Soo-Hong is not a paragon like the firefighter before him and the God of House, who has been living for 1000 years, has to die before the guardians can move on. Second part of the Korean blockbuster brings more spectacle and moral dilemmas.

The second part of the Korean blockbuster poses some serious questions about life and the afterlife. Soo-hong wonders what is so great about reincarnation - entering our difficult and demanding world and going through hardships once more. There is also a great performance from Ma Dong-seok (Train to Busan) as the God of House, lending the film a great richness of character. Alternating between the afterlife and the mundane living of the God of House, the film explores its themes to a deeper level. On top of that, the film spectacularly delivers the set pieces of the challenges and works towards a grand finale.
