Ladri di biciclette
Vittorio De Sica / IT, 1948 / 93 min.
Antonio and his son Bruno wander through Rome trying to trace the man who stole Antonio’s bicycle. This neo-realistic classic offers an unsentimental take on the struggle for life in post-war Italy. Bicycle Thieves was awarded an honorary Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1949 and is now screened in a splendid 4 K restoration.
