DiCaprio plays a former activist whose family is in danger when an old enemy reappears after sixteen years. A 70mm copy of the film was also made, and this can be seen in Eye from 21 December.
One Battle After Another marks the first collaboration between Leonardo DiCaprio and Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood, Boogie Nights, Magnolia). DiCaprio plays civil rights activist Bob Ferguson who joins an anti-government group in order to combat an 'alt-right' white supremacist organisation. In this combination of political satire, black comedy and action film, an enemy of his group of former revolutionaries reappears sixteen years later, and once again they join forces to save Bob’s daughter, who is being threatened.
A 70mm copy of the film can be seen in Eye from 21 December.
