Parade
Jacques Tati / FR, SE, 1974 / 90 min.
Jacques Tati as the circus performer Monsieur Loyal surrounded by clowns, musicians, magicians and acrobats. Tati performs classic jokes and mimes from his early variety act with genuine nostalgic pleasure including the famous tennis match without a ball or net. New 4K restoration.

Jacques Tati's final film is a charming video production for Swedish TV. Parade is not a feature film in the traditional sense, but is a recording of Tati performing as Monsieur Loyal at the Stockholm Cirkus. Two children end up behind the scenes of a circus. Jacques Tati mimes and interacts with the audience, the circus artists, the clowns and the children.
