Virtual reality documentary by Sjors Swierstra and co-director Ivanna Khitsinska (Q&A) takes us to the shelters where Ukrainians seek shelter from drones and rockets on an almost daily basis. But life in all its aspects goes on, even underground.
The war in Ukraine has been raging for more than three years now, with little prospect of a cease-fire or peace treaty. Throughout those years, Ukrainian citizens have been taking shelter in underground stations and air-raid shelters when the sirens wail, and throughout those years, soldiers on the front lines have continued to resist the numerically far superior Russian army.
Ivanna Khitsinska will be present for a Q&A (15') with the audience.
