2020, in the recent past, during the Covid lockdown: neuroscientist Tony Wong from Hong Kong (Tony Leung Chiu-Wai) is stuck on campus. His only companion is the grumpy caretaker.
For decades, the gingko tree was the only one to witness how successive generations of researchers are all spiritually connected.
