An Iranian judge suffers from increasing paranoia as political protests escalate throughout the country. When his pistol suddenly disappears, he starts to suspect his own family, and takes drastic measures in this social drama that evolves into a tense cat-and-mouse thriller.
Iman, an ambitious lawyer working for the Iranian government, has just been promoted to the role of investigating judge for the revolutionary court in Teheran. This has huge consequences for his family, who are given clear instructions on what is expected from them from now on. His wife (played by actress and activist Soheila Golestani) and teenage daughters come under scrutiny, and have to obey strict rules.
