Vivre sa vie
Jean-Luc Godard / FR, 1962 / 80 min.
In twelve chapters we follow an aspiring actress, played by Godard’s muse Anna Karina, as she descends into prostitution. To Live One's Life is the third of seven films in which Godard and Karina collaborated and a celebration of her beauty. This turning point in Godard’s oeuvre won the Special Jury Prize at Venice and has reached the status of a classic.
